GOTR Memphis honored with this year's Spark Award

Spark Award

Girls on the Run Memphis is thrilled to announce that we are receiving this year’s Spark Award in the ‘Non-Profit (budget under $1 Million) category.  The Spark award -produced by CityCurrent- celebrates the efforts of individuals, nonprofits, corporations, and schools, in 13 different categories, who are igniting change and making a positive impact in the Greater Memphis community.  We will be honored on Monday, December 16 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., during The SPARK Awards 2024 special televised broadcast on WKNO/Channel 10.

Back in August, the public was invited to freely cast nominations in each of the 13 categories, as an opportunity to recognize and help publicly thank the organizations and individuals leading by example and making a difference in the Mid-South.  Unbeknownst to us, many of our community partners, volunteers, and families submitted nominations for GOTR Memphis. This unsolicited praise is a validation that the work you’ve generously supported has positively impacted our city and our treasured GOTR community.

We hope you’ll celebrate alongside us this coming Monday. Thank you for being champions for GOTR Memphis.
