Become a junior Coach

Junior Coaches are needed to inspire the next generation! Our Junior Coach program is for high school girls aged 16 to 18. Beyond serving as a role model to program participants, Junior Coaches work alongside Coaches, strengthening their leadership skills and gaining a sense of belonging and purpose.

Internships

Our council can create internship opportunities on an individual basis, helping you get the most out of your experience. Focus areas include volunteer recruitment, program support, marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, videography, operations, special events and fundraising.

Currently, all of our internship positions have been filled. Please email the Executive Director, joanna.lipman@girlsontherun.org, with any inquiries.

General Volunteer Interest Form

We have several volunteer opportunities that arise through our season that don't fit neatly into any larger categories. Some examples of these needs include:

  • Putting together coach bags pre-season
  • Helping with phone-a-thon fundraising efforts
  • Assisting with social media
  • Many others!

These are in addition to larger volunteer needs like coaches, 5K volunteers, and Adopt-A-Team volunteer sponsors.

Interested in getting involved with GOTR Memphis but don't know where you fit just yet? No worries! Let us know you're interested in volunteering using this form here.
